Unfortunately, today I had a terrible customer service experience. I called at 0640hrs the day of service to get 7 paper yard waste bags picked-up. I got a call back at 0822hrs that the dispatcher at Pollard could not reach the driver. So due to Pollard's inability to communicate with the driver the 7 paper bags may or may not be picked-up.

Now if I would have called 2-3 days earlier they could have got the extra bags on the drivers sheet. "Oh, I'm sorry- did you need notification so the trash truck driver could drive two trucks to accommodate the extra trash?" . I'm sure what really happened is that the trash truck driver was either too lazy or incompetent to make the decision to pick-up trash on his own.

Anyway to make it worse, it was raining so the paper bags are soaked. I'm not moving them from the curb. I covered them with plastic the best I could. If the bags aren't picked-up next week, I'm finding another trash service, maybe Republic Services. It's not rocket science to pick up trash. "Pollard you really need either more competent employees or better management oversight- maybe both." Your job is to pick-up trash, that's what I'm paying you for- so pick-up trash."
